The Dream Series of paintings has been incubating in my creative womb for many years. For each one, there was a seed that dropped down on the inside of my soul that slowly took form. These seeds were either sown by winds of personal challenge or from the pollination of others traveling through the fields of my life.

A dream in the human spirit binds all cultures. It is a common language of hope. Buried, broken or growing and glowing they can be found in many different stages of development, various sizes and conditions.

In attempting to give expression to the language of dreams and hopes, I have chosen to use a repeating symbolic spherical form. As a carrier of life-giving energy, these spheres glow with an internal light source. The spectrum of human hope is conveyed by the variety of colors and densities these metaphoric spheres represent.
